Protestors led by Occupy Seattle‚ Dorli Rainey demand an end to the pollution created by the Seattle Steam incinerator located near Pike Place Market on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012.

The group claims that the Seattle Steam incinerator releases large amounts of deadly chemicals into the air harming residents in nearby low income housing areas.

Dozens of Occupy Seattle protesters were doused with pepper spray by police officers Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. Among those hit was 84-year-old Dorli Rainey, a former teacher and activist. CBS Affiliate KOIN reports Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn issued apologies for the police use of pepper spray to disperse Occupy Seattle protesters. He also telephoned and offered a personal apology to Rainey. McGinn said he’s called for a complete review of police officers’ actions.(Source)

BREAKING: Jeniffer Fox, the 3 Month Pregnant women who was pepper sprayed at Occupy Seattle has miscarried.

“I was screaming, ‘I am pregnant, I am pregnant. Let me through. I am trying to get out.’” At that point, Fox continues, a Seattle police officer lifted his foot and it hit her in the stomach, and another officer pushed his bicycle into the crowd, again hitting Fox in the stomach.

Yesterday, around 200 protesters marched to the corner of East Thomas Street in Seattle to protest in front of a Chase bank.
Police arrived at the scene and used pepper spray on protesters and began to make arrest.
Later that day, the protesters marched from Westlake Park to the Sheraton Hotel, where JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon was speaking at a business dinner.
